Plastic Products Company to open new facility in Oconee County

$3.2 million investment is expected to create 68 new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Plastic Products Company Inc. (PPC), a manufacturer of plastics and injection molding, has selected Oconee County for the company's new facility. The $3.2 million investment is expected to create 68 new jobs. 

The company will locate its new facility at 199 Keowee Business Parkway in Seneca, with plans to begin operations as early as June of this year. PPC plans to start operations with a small team of existing employees before hiring new employees for permanent positions beginning next month. 

PPC was established in 1962 and is a 100 percent employee-owned company headquartered in Lindstrom, Minn. The new Seneca facility will be the company's eighth location and its first in South Carolina.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits for the project.
