$12 million investment expected to create 15 new jobs
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Constantia Hueck Foils LLC, an Austria-based manufacturer of foil- and film-based packaging, will expand its current production facility in Richland County. The $12 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.

Constantia Hueck Foils will expand its Northpoint production facility, located at 1111 Northpoint Blvd. in Blythewood, with an additional 15,000 square feet of space as well as additional equipment. A local contractor has been selected, and construction of the facility addition is expected to begin in April and be completed by October.

Since January 2011, South Carolina has recruited more than $8 billion in capital investment and more than 21,000 jobs in the manufacturing sector.
“South Carolina’s manufacturing sector continues to create wealth and jobs. Constantia Hueck Foils decision to expand operations here in the Midlands is another sign our manufacturing renaissance is continuing. Every one of these jobs will have an impact,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
“Constantia Hueck Foils has been an important part of our manufacturing community since 1997, and we are delighted to assist them with their latest expansion. The company’s continued commitment to Richland County is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones with them,” stated Kelvin Washington, chairman of Richland County Council.

The company will begin the hiring process later this summer.
