Message from Secretary Hitt: Supporting S.C.'s existing industry

South Carolina is home to some of the most successful and innovative companies in the aerospace, agribusiness, automotive, manufacturing and technology industries. And, we believe that every business, large or small, deserves every benefit it can get.
 
Team S.C. is not just committed to recruiting new business. We provide services for any company's needs throughout its growth and development. From assisting with the location of new sites and buildings to offering grants for community development and infrastructure improvement, we have a dedicated team to help existing businesses succeed.
 
The Existing Industry team also works with our county existing industry partners throughout the state to equip them with the tools to help support businesses. Recently, the team invited county partners to the Existing Industry Workshop to focus on Team S.C.'s collective strategy to retain and expand businesses currently located in the state. The workshop included a dynamic group of speakers who highlighted recent success stories, the impact of relationships, analytics evaluation, networking and more.  
 
Events like the Existing Industry Workshop are just an example of the many ways Team S.C. works to support our existing industries operating within our borders.
