MAKROchem establishing Lancaster County operations

Company investing $7.5 million to establish facility in the Palmetto state

COLUMBIA, S.C.MAKROchem, a leading carbon black supplier for the rubber and tire industries, is establishing its first U.S. operations with a new facility in Lancaster County. The company is planning to invest $7.5 million in the project, creating 20 new jobs.

Headquartered in Poland, MAKROchem is a leading supplier of carbon black, a reinforcing filler in tires and other rubber products. With more than 20 years of commercial experience, the company also provides comprehensive logistics services, including transfer, warehousing and delivery.

To better serve the North American market, MAKROchem is establishing operations in Lancaster County. To accommodate these operations, the company has purchased an existing building, located at 2013 West Meeting Street in Lancaster, S.C. The 183,000-square-foot facility is expected to be fully operational this year, and hiring will start in May. Those interested in joining the MAKROchem team should contact [email protected].
