Columbia, SC -UC Synergetic, an engineering and technical services company supporting power and communications utilities, is locating its corporate headquarters and engineering operations in York County. The company's $2.2 million investment is expected to bring 130 jobs to South Carolina.
The larger corporate office, which will be located at 123 N. White Street in Fort Mill, will accommodate additional staff in response to the company's growing list of clients. The company's commitment to Fort Mill for the next 10 years is expected to have a positive impact on the development of technical talent and job creation in South Carolina and across the country.
UC Synergetic is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pike Corporation, which acquired the company in 2012. The new headquarters in South Carolina will be used to support UC Synergetic's 36 offices located throughout the country and more than 1,200 employees.
