Carolina Textile Care, LLC launching new operations in Hampton County

Commercial laundry plant to create 50 new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. Carolina Textile Care, LLC today announced plans to construct a new commercial laundry plant in Hampton County. The company’s $7.3 million investment is projected to create 50 new jobs.

Located in the Lowcountry Regional Industrial Park in Early Branch, S.C., Carolina Textile Care’s new, 25,000-square-foot commercial laundry plant will have an initial annual processing capacity of 10 million pounds. The commercial focus of the new operation will be to serve high-end hotels and resorts. Hiring for the new positions should begin at the end of 2018.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved a $75,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to Hampton County to assist with the costs of site preparation and building construction. For more information on the company, visit www.carolinatextilecare.com.
