Day-long workshop will address current lending practices and feature one-on-one lender networking
COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina Department of Commerce, along with several partner organizations, will be hosting a small business lender matchmaker event on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Columbia, S.C.
The workshop is aimed at assisting small business owners with financing strategies as well as providing opportunities to connect with potential lenders. Small business owners will also learn from finance professionals on how to improve their business strategies and prepare for funding challenges.
Partners of the event include the South Carolina Bankers Association, Carolinas Credit Union League, South Carolina Small Business Development Centers, South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development, United States Small Business Administration, National Federation of Independent Business and Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
The event is taking place at the Medallion Conference Center, 7309 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, S.C. An early registration price of $35 will be offered until October 15th.
