With an estimated impact of $27 billion, South Carolina’s automotive industry is a major driver of the state’s economy. To build on that growth and continue the advancement of the industry, the South Carolina Automotive Summit, which took place last week in Greenville, brings together top minds in the industry each year. This year’s summit provided an opportunity for leaders in the industry to discuss business trends, share best practices and connect with automotive industry stakeholders.
During the summit, S.C. Commerce hosted the 6th annual B2B Matchmaking Event, which brought together more than 200 suppliers from across the state to meet with OEM and tier one companies. This year’s B2B event attracted a record number of participants, who were able to network with establish relationships with fellow industry stakeholders.
Additionally, S.C. Commerce hosted the panel discussion, Growing your Business in North America. Three S.C. companies talked about how they targeted new markets for business and offered encouragement on how others can strategize for growth.
