From fighter jets to luxury automobiles, and lifesaving medical devices to home appliances, South Carolina has earned a reputation for making some of the most complex products in the world. To showcase S.C.’s diverse manufacturing sector, the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance has teamed up with BlueCross Blue Shield of South Carolina to host the Manufacturing Madness: Coolest Thing Made In S.C. contest.
The nomination period is currently underway, and the voting period will begin on February 28.
The top 16 most nominated products will advance to the Manufacturing Madness bracket on March 7, and each week the field will be cut in half until the winner is selected from among the four finalists the week of March 21.
