Third-party logistics provider creating 28 jobs
COLUMBIA, S.C. – BLG Logistics, a global leader in third-party logistics services, today announced it is locating new operations in Charleston County. Designed to support Mercedes-Benz Vans’ production operations, the company’s new logistics facility is projected to create 28 jobs.
Providing value-added solutions to a variety of clients, BLG Logistics utilizes innovative technology and global expertise to support the international vehicle assembly supply chain. The company’s new Charleston County facility will manage parts and materials inventory for just-in-time and just-in-sequence operations, as well as transportation for Mercedes-Benz Vans by coordinating deliveries of assembled, tested and inspected auto parts.
