South Carolina Deputy Secretary of Commerce Ashely Teasdel was honored by the Charleston Women in International Trade (CWIT) as the organization’s 2024 Woman of the Year on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in Charleston, S.C. Recognized for her outstanding involvement and contribution to international trade in addition to her character, integrity, knowledge and dedication to her profession, Deputy Secretary Teasdel (left) was presented the award by 2023 award winner Christy Hall (right), former South Carolina Department of Transportation secretary.
CWIT is dedicated to the advancement of women in the various careers pertaining to international trade, particularly women in Charleston and throughout South Carolina.
