METS Trade Show

The SC Department of Commerce, in conjunction with the National Marine Manufacturers Association, will be exhibiting in the U.S.A. pavilion at the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS). METS is one of the biggest and best-attended, business-to-business marine equipment shows in the world. 

Participating companies will have the opportunity to interact with yacht and boat builders, naval architects, repair yards, distributors, captains, marina developers and equipment manufacturers, representing more than 110 countries.

MEDICA 2019

Join the South Carolina Department of Commerce in the USA Pavilion at MEDICA 2019, the largest and most influential healthcare industry event in Europe. This show brings the leading healthcare manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and organizations from around the world. MEDICA 2019 is taking place November 18-21 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The S.C. Department of Commerce is recruiting companies to join team South Carolina. There are four spots available as part of the South Carolina booth. 

Entering the European Union Market Webinar

Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR), in collaboration with the S.C. Department of Commerce and the Upstate Alliance, is offering a webinar focusing on entering your business into the EU market. The webinar will include information on expediting your orientation into the EU market using Ireland as a base, accessing considerable engineering support and assistance with developing a solid operation plan for the first three years.

Brazil and Colombia Trade Mission

The S.C. Department of Commerce, in conjunction with our partners at the U.S. Commercial Service, will be leading a multi-sector trade mission to Colombia and Brazil. The goal of this mission is to assist small- to medium-sized companies with exporting products and services to these important markets. Each pre-screened mission participant will receive a customized schedule of B2B meetings to meet with prospective customers, distributors and business partners. Mission participants will also benefit from a market briefing, networking events, interpreter service and transportation support.

Paris Air Show

The SC Department of Commerce will be exhibiting at the 2019 Paris Air Show to promote the Palmetto State for foreign investment projects and help South Carolina firms reach the world's aerospace markets. Participating companies will be able to meet, one-on-one, with prospective distributors and clients. 

Harmonized System and Schedule B Classification Export Training

This full-day session will allow attendees to understand the Harmonized System and the Schedule B listing for exports. The program will review the six General Rules of Interpretation (GRI) used to classify every product.

Trade Mission to Canada

The SC Department of Commerce is leading a trade mission to Canada. Companies that are approved to attend will have one-on-one meetings with prospective distributors, agents and partners which are tailored to their business and goals. This multi-sector trade mission is open to all companies within South Carolina. 

Arab Health 2019

Join SC Commerce in the USA Pavilion in Dubai at Arab Health 2019. Arab Health is the largest and most influential healthcare industry event in the Middle East. This show brings together the world’s leading healthcare manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and organizations. The 2018 event welcomed more than 4,100 exhibiting companies and 84,400 attendees from more than 160 countries, highlighting its strength as the region’s leading exhibition in the healthcare industry.

Export University 201: Compliance

Export University 201: Compliance will provide attendes with information on how to be in full compliance with a host of US export regulations. Discussion will focus on the proper standards by which to determine origin and how to label the origin of items.
