COLUMBIA, S.C. – Metromont Corporation, a manufacturer of precast concrete materials, is expanding its existing Greenville County operations. This latest $8.8 million investment is projected to create an additional 100 jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Augusta Fiberglass Coatings, Inc., a leading manufacturer of custom fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) equipment, will expand its existing operations in Blackville, S.C. To accommodate its growth, the company will be investing $625,000 and adding 12 jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) and GE Aviation have selected the property adjacent to ATI’s Richburg, S.C. operations as the site for a new research and development (R&D) facility. This joint venture is expected to create 29 new jobs.

ATI (NYSE: ATI) is a global manufacturer of technically-advanced specialty materials and complex components and is a market leader in manufacturing differentiated products. ATI is a leader in producing powders for use in next-generation jet engine forgings and 3D-printed aerospace products.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Collum’s Lumber Products, LLC, a producer of dimensional lumber and other wood products, today announced the expansion of its Allendale County manufacturing operations. Creating 10 new jobs, the company is investing $2 million to construct a new warehousing facility on the site of its existing state-of-the-art sawmill operation.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Thrace-LINQ, a global supplier of fabrics for the textile industry, is expanding its Dorchester County operations. The $9 million investment is expected to create at least 10 new jobs.

Thrace-LINQ manufactures nonwoven fabrics used in a variety of textile applications, including geosynthetics, automotive, construction and floor covering. With its North American headquarters, manufacturing and distribution center in Summerville, S.C., Thrace-LINQ is a member of The Thrace Group of Athens, Greece.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Don Construction Products (DCP), a U.K.-based world leader in developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced technology products for the construction industry, is launching its first U.S. manufacturing operations in Lancaster County. The new development is projected to bring $6.2 million in capital investment and create 21 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fiber Industries LLC is preparing to open a new textile production operation in Darlington County. Expected to be operational in early 2018, this development is projected to bring more than $30 million of capital investment and lead to the creation of at least 135 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ritrama is expanding its existing Spartanburg County manufacturing facility. The company is investing an additional $15 million to accommodate its continued growth, bringing Ritrama’s total investment in South Carolina to $100 million.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Electro-Spec, Inc., a specialty plating manufacturer, is locating new production operations in Lexington County. The new development is projected to bring $3.1 million of capital investment and create 53 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Softbox Systems, an international temperature-control packaging provider, today announced it is expanding its Greenville County operations to house its U.S. and Canadian headquarters. To accommodate its rapid growth, the company is projected to create 70 new jobs.
