ATI and GE Aviation investing in joint Chester County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) and GE Aviation have selected the property adjacent to ATI’s Richburg, S.C. operations as the site for a new research and development (R&D) facility. This joint venture is expected to create 29 new jobs.

ATI (NYSE: ATI) is a global manufacturer of technically-advanced specialty materials and complex components and is a market leader in manufacturing differentiated products. ATI is a leader in producing powders for use in next-generation jet engine forgings and 3D-printed aerospace products.

Collum’s Lumber Products expanding operations in Allendale County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Collum’s Lumber Products, LLC, a producer of dimensional lumber and other wood products, today announced the expansion of its Allendale County manufacturing operations. Creating 10 new jobs, the company is investing $2 million to construct a new warehousing facility on the site of its existing state-of-the-art sawmill operation.

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Thrace-LINQ, a global supplier of fabrics for the textile industry, is expanding its Dorchester County operations. The $9 million investment is expected to create at least 10 new jobs.

Thrace-LINQ manufactures nonwoven fabrics used in a variety of textile applications, including geosynthetics, automotive, construction and floor covering.
