Nestlé USA expanding operations in Cherokee County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nestlé USA, a leading food and beverage company, today unveiled plans to expand operations in Cherokee County. The $100 million investment will create approximately 160 new jobs.

A division of Nestlé S.A., headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland, Nestlé USA’s portfolio includes brands such as STOUFFER’S, COFFEE MATE, DIGIORNO and NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE.

State of South Carolina announces 2020 industry recruitment results

The South Carolina Department of Commerce today released its 2020 industry recruitment results. In total, the state won 126 economic development projects, accounting for $4 billion in capital investment and 11,147 new jobs.

Using a carbon dioxide extraction method, Pee Dee Extractors, LLC processes hemp for CBD and its byproducts. 

Located at 1506 U.S. 378 in Gresham, Pee Dee Extractors, LLC’s new facility will serve as a location where the company can grow hemp for seed production and also research development.
