Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced plans to open a new fulfillment center in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The facility will create hundreds of new full time jobs and involve a $50 million investment in the state.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – January 4, 2013 – Time Warner Cable, a provider of cable television and Internet services, today announced plans to expand its operations in Lexington County. The $24 million investment is expected to generate 644 new jobs over the next year.

The company is investing more than $2.7 million in the new facility, which will complement the firm’s existing Lexington County corporate headquarters. The expansion is expected to generate 91 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Red Ventures, a technology-enabled sales and digital marketing company, today has broken ground on the expansion of its existing Lancaster County operations. The company is investing $90 million to construct a new facility, named RV4, and generate approximately 1,500 new jobs.
