DC BLOX growing S.C. footprint with new data center in Horry County
DC BLOX, a multi-tenant data center in the Southeast, today announced plans to expand its South Carolina presence with a new operation in Horry County. The company’s $31.5 million investment will create three new jobs.
Founded in 2014, DC BLOX connects businesses to any destination worldwide through its private network and global ecosystem of communications partners. The company’s software-defined network quickly provides connectivity to the cloud, partners and providers.
Autonomous vehicle company Argo AI establishing operations in Greenville County
Argo AI (Argo), a global autonomy products and services company, will establish a test facility in Greenville County. The company’s $2.6 million investment is expected to create 40 new jobs.
BMW expanding operations in Spartanburg County with new press shop
BMW announced today that the company is expanding its Spartanburg County operations with the construction of a new press shop. The $200 million investment will create 200 new jobs.
The 219,000-square-foot press shop – located on the BMW Plant Spartanburg campus – will take raw coils of steel, cut them into blanks and stamp sheet metal parts for future BMW models. These components include hang-on parts such as the vehicles’ four doors, fenders, exterior body sides and lift gate.
Blue Diamond Industries establishing first East Coast manufacturing operations in Laurens County
Blue Diamond Industries, a subsidiary of Hexatronic Group AB in Sweden and a manufacturer of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) conduit materials for the protection of fiber optic, data and power cables, today announced the formalization on establishing operations in Laurens County.
Greenidge Generation establishing operations in Spartanburg County
Greenidge Generation Holdings Inc. (Greenidge Generation), a vertically integrated cryptocurrency mining and power generation company committed to 100% carbon-neutral datacenter operations, today announced plans to develop a new cryptocurrency datacenter in Spartanburg County. The $264 million investment will create 40 new tech-sector jobs.
