Pulcra Chemicals to expand in York County

$3.1 million investment expected to create 17 jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Pulcra Chemicals, a worldwide supplier of innovative specialty chemicals, is expanding its South Carolina manufacturing operation in York County. The $3.1 million investment will create 17 new jobs with an average wage of $22.00 per hour. 

With more than 135 years of process and engineering experience, Pulcra Chemicals specializes in providing high-performance products and system solutions for increasing the productivity and environmental compatibility of complex manufacturing processes in the fiber, textile and leather industries. 

A global company, Pulcra Chemicals operates production facilities, service centers and sales offices in 14 countries. 

South Carolina has recruited more than 31,000 new manufacturing jobs to the state's economy since January 2011.
