Notes on Innovation series highlights S.C. innovators and entrepreneurs
The S.C. Commerce Office of Innovation today announced the cast of season four of Scribble’s Notes on Innovation series. The lineup includes thought-leaders from electric vehicle companies to innovative startups – all who exemplify the relentless pursuit of transformational ideas. The season four cast includes:
- Andrew Lee - IMCS
- Bob Brown - Integrated Systems, Inc.
- Vernita Brown - Natalist
- Mike Finnern - Proterra
- Jules Weldon and Stace Pierce - OME Gear
- Jeff DiMaio - Tetramer
- Thomas Crawford - University of South Carolina professor and founder of MagAssemble
- James Townsend - Dopple XR, Inc.
“Industries across the board are experiencing significant advances in innovation and change, and it’s critical that our state remains on the cutting edge of these technologies and thought processes,” said Secretary of Commerce Harry M. Lightsey III. “We celebrate our state’s forward-thinkers, and look forward to their stories of innovation and entrepreneurism.”

Launched in 2019, Scribble connects, equips and elevates South Carolina’s innovation and technology community through the experiences and stories of the state’s most accomplished minds.
