Comprised of more than 400 firms, life sciences has become one of South Carolina’s top industries. With an annual impact of more than $11.4 billion each year, this burgeoning sector employs approximately 15,000 workers across the state.
To discuss the future of life sciences, as well as how best to advance this high-tech sector across South Carolina, the S.C. Biotechnology Industry Organization (SCBIO) is hosting SCBIO 2018. Taking place October 23-25, 2018 at Charleston’s Gaillard Auditorium, the annual event will feature intensive networking opportunities, innovation updates and strategic discussions with leaders from a broad spectrum of life sciences industries, including: medical devices; bio-manufacturing; drug discovery; pharmaceuticals; diagnostics and testing; biofuels and materials; agriculture; and more.
