As Team South Carolina seeks to build on the economic success we’ve had as a state, the exploration of new marketplaces for potential trade relationships is critical. One such area of opportunity just happens to be the destination for U.S. Commercial Services’ annual Trade Winds Conference and Mission – Southeast Europe.
Comprised of visits to Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece and Serbia, the trip will provide participating companies with access to markets that are ripe for growth. In fact, last year alone, export sales to these five countries increased by 58 percent, collectively.
As the largest annual U.S. government-led trade mission, the trip will allow participants to attend an informative conference, take part in B2B matchmaker events, meet with foreign diplomats and build relationships with industry leaders and potential clients.
Export assistance funds are available to eligible South Carolina companies seeking to participate in this year’s Trade Winds event. For further information, click here.
