Like all uncertain or developing weather patterns, preparation is key. S.C. Commerce knows that businesses need unique support and real-time updates during a natural disaster. To help, the Emergency Support Function-24 (ESF-24) acts as the industry liaison between emergency management and state government officials whose services directly support or impact the business community. Sign up for ESF-24 quarterly updates and disaster alerts, or visit the S.C. Emergency Business Resources database for immediate updates.

Businesses and residents alike can also utilize the 2024 South Carolina Hurricane Guide, which includes new and updated evacuation routes, disaster supply kit recommendations, and more.
