The Central SC Alliance and its nine member counties and city met with Secretary Harry Lightsey on Tuesday to wrap up his statewide visits with regional alliances. The presentation, which focused on highlighting the assets the Central SC Region is able to offer prospective industries, opened the floor to the region’s members to present the benefits of each of their locations and discuss goals for the future.
Major conversation points included increasing the amount of available product, supporting infrastructure improvements and the recruitment, development and retention of a skilled workforce to boost regional and statewide efforts of attracting development opportunities.
