Steel fabricating facility creates 72 new jobs
Steel Creek Galvanizing, a fabricated steel products galvanizer, is officially open for business in Cherokee County. The company celebrated its grand opening on July 16. The $14.1 million investment created 72 new jobs.
The company announced the new operations in July of 2017.
The company’s new 82,000-square-foot facility is located at 576 Tribal Road. Designed to protect steel against rust and other corrosion, the hot-dip galvanizing operation will be an environmentally-friendly, zero-emission operation.
