COLUMBIA, S.C. – Eveon Containers (Eveon), a global online provider of used shipping containers, today announced the expansion of its North American operations to include a new headquarters in Charleston County. The company’s investment is expected to create over 25 new jobs in the next five years.
US Brick expands Richland County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – US Brick, a closely held manufacturer and direct supplier of residential and commercial brick, today announced it is expanding its Richland County operations. The company’s $5.5 million investment will create 33 new jobs.
Founded as Carolina Ceramics in Columbia in 1939, the company became US Brick when it was acquired in 2020. Now headquartered in Charleston, US Brick has the capacity to produce 350 million bricks annually across its manufacturing facilities in South Carolina, Alabama, Indiana and Tennessee.
MP Husky expanding Greenville County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – MP Husky, a manufacturer of cable support and power distribution systems, today announced it is expanding its Greenville County operations. The company’s $11.1 million investment will create 35 new jobs.
A subsidiary of Gower Corporation, MP Husky has more than 60 years of experience designing and manufacturing cable tray and cable bus power distribution systems. The company’s products are used in various industries including automotive and renewable energy.
Portside Technology expands Charleston County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Portside Technology, an information technology (IT) services company, today announced it is expanding its Charleston County operations. The company’s continued local investments, partnered with its historical and continued merger and acquisitions strategy, will create 89 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Schneider Electric, a leader in energy management and automation, today announced it is expanding operations in Oconee and Richland counties. The company’s combined investment of $23.8 million will create 280 new jobs throughout 2024.
Sandvik Coromant expanding Oconee County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sandvik Coromant, a tooling solutions supplier, today announced it is expanding operations in Oconee County. The $29.4 million investment will improve the company’s Westminster production facility.
Part of Sandvik, a global industrial engineering group, Sandvik Coromant produces carbide inserts and round tools used in the metal cutting industry. The company’s Oconee County operation manufactures more than 2,300 standard article and customized carbide inserts.
Clarios expanding Oconee County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Clarios, a global leader in advanced battery solutions, today announced it is expanding operations in Oconee County. The company will invest approximately $16 million and create 12 new jobs.
Allegiance Flag Supply expands Charleston County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Allegiance Flag Supply, a producer of American flags, today announced the expansion of its Charleston County operations. The company’s $6.3 million investment will create 84 new jobs.
Founded in Charleston in 2018, Allegiance Flag Supply produces high-quality, hand-sewn flags using locally sourced materials. The company makes over 1,000 American flags each day and distributes to customers in all 50 states.
TTS Studios expands Charleston County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – TTS Studios, a custom fabrication company, today announced the expansion of its Charleston County operations. The company’s $845,000 investment will create 14 new jobs.
Established in 2016, TTS Studios supports and amplifies creative visions through innovative technical design and custom fabrication. The company specializes in creating for the performing arts, premium event and experiential marketing industries.
