COLUMBIA, S.C. – Koops, Inc., a manufacturer of automation systems, is growing its existing Greenville County production operations. The company’s $2.2 million investment is projected to create 20 new jobs over the next five years.

Koops, Inc. is a full-service systems integrator that provides turnkey solutions from project conception to completion. The company features a variety of in-house services, including 3D mechanical design, controls design, project management, machining, fabrication and production line integration, among others.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Carolina Composites, doing business as Pioneer Boats, has announced that the company will expand its existing operations in Walterboro, S.C. Through its $3 million investment, the company is projected to create 92 jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – JTEKT North America, a producer of bearings, driveline components, steering systems and machine tools, today announced that it is investing $19.4 million to expand its existing Koyo Bearings production facility in Oconee County. The growth will result in the creation of 56 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Meritor, a global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicle markets, is expanding its existing operations in Clarendon County. The $5.2 million investment is projected to create 31 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Lonza, one of the world’s leading suppliers to the pharmaceutical, biotech and specialty ingredients markets, today announced plans to expand operations in Greenwood County. The company is investing $46 million over the next five years and is expected to generate 30 new jobs as a result.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sure Trac, an existing Horry County manufacturer of high-quality axles, today announced plans to expand its operations. The company is projected to bring $2.5 million of capital investment and create approximately 20 new positions over the next five years.

Founded in 1996, Sure Trac manufactures high-quality axles for a variety of applications, including utility trailers and manufactured homes. Sure Trac also has manufacturing and distribution operations in Loris, S.C. and Hewitt, Texas.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – RBC Aerostructures, a provider of control rods and precision machined parts to aerospace and defense customers, is expanding its existing Oconee County operations. The company’s $3.8 million investment is expected to create 22 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – J. Geiger Shading, a provider of modern window shading, is expanding its existing Charleston County operations. The company’s $1.1 million investment is projected to create 26 new jobs.

J. Geiger Shading is a designer, manufacturer and provider of high-end window shades to architects, builders and developers. Offering both wireless and digital integration, the company’s fascia-free shades are designed to work with all automation and lighting control systems currently on the market.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Low Country Case & Millwork (LCCM), a manufacturer and installer of commercial casework and millwork, is expanding its existing Charleston County operations. The company is projected to bring $7 million of capital investment and create at least 10 new jobs.

Established in 1990, LCCM offers high-end custom cabinetry, architectural millwork and state-of-the-art institutional casework. As a turnkey operation, all company products are manufactured in-house and can be installed by trained field technicians.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Spartina 449, an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company, has announced plans to expand its accounting and operations divisions by locating to a 40,000 square-foot facility in Bluffton, S.C. The expansion will allow the firm to create 15 new jobs.
