McCall Farms expanding Florence County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – McCall Farms, the South Carolina-based manufacturers of Margaret Holmes, Glory Foods, Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts and Bruce’s Yams, is investing $35 million to expand its existing Florence County operations. This investment is expected to bring 150 new jobs to Effingham, S.C.
Heatworks growing Charleston County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Heatworks, a manufacturer of innovative tankless water heaters, is expanding their Charleston County operations. To accommodate its continued growth, the company is creating approximately 60 new jobs.
ACE Bakery, LLC expanding Cherokee County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – ACE Bakery, LLC, an artisan bakery that produces par-baked breads for retail customers, is expanding its existing Cherokee County operations. The $31.9 million investment is expected to create 40 new jobs over the next several years.
ACE Bakery, a wholly-owned subsidiary of George Weston Limited, produces and distributes baked goods to a variety of retail and foodservice sectors. First announced in July 2012, the company’s Cherokee County facilities are located at 131 Corporate Drive in Gaffney, S.C.
Vetroresina LLC growing its operations in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Vetroresina LLC, a manufacturer of fiber-reinforced polyester laminates, is expanding its existing operations in Greenville County. To accommodate continued growth, the company is investing $7.5 million and creating 17 new jobs.
MAPAL, Inc. growing Greenville County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – MAPAL, Inc., a global leader and innovator in the tooling industry, is expanding its existing Greenville County operations. The $4 million capital investment is expected to create 16 new jobs.
Harbor Freight Tools creating more than 500 jobs in Dillon County expansion
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Harbor Freight Tools, Dillon County’s largest employer, today announced a one million-square foot expansion of its East Coast distribution facility. This expansion is projected to create more than 500 new jobs, bringing the company’s total investment in South Carolina to more than $200 million.
Founded in 1977, Harbor Freight Tools is a family-owned national tool retailer based in Calabasas, Calif. With more than 800 stores nationwide and a new store opening approximately every three days, the company has more than 40 million customers.
AHT Cooling Systems USA, Inc. expanding operations in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – AHT Cooling Systems USA, Inc., a provider of custom refrigerated and frozen merchandising solutions, is expanding its existing Charleston County facility by adding assembly and distribution operations. The project will result in more than $5 million in capital investment and lead to the creation of more than 70 new jobs.
Coast Brewing, LLC is expanding its operations in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Coast Brewing, LLC, a family-owned craft brewery based in Charleston, S.C., is expanding its existing operations. With a capital investment of $1.7 million, the company is expected to create 29 new jobs.
Currently, Coast Brewing produces 4,000 barrels per year for distribution primarily in the Charleston region. This expansion will increase production to more than 7,000 barrels per year, further growing the company’s sales market and allowing for the construction of a taproom and full kitchen.
Trucast expanding Newberry County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Trucast LLC, a manufacturer of components for automotive engines and power generation, announced today it will be expanding its Newberry operations. The company is expected to invest $3 million and create 10 new jobs over the next few years.
Blue Eye Soft Corporation expanding its Greenville County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Blue Eye Soft Corporation is expanding its corporate operations into a new facility in Greenville County. Located in Greer, S.C., the company projects it will create more than 120 new jobs over the next two to four years.
