MSI-Forks Inc. expanding York County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – MSI-Forks Inc., a world leader in fork-arms manufacturing, is expanding its existing operations in York County. The company is investing $3.5 million to construct and relocate to a larger facility and create 33 new jobs over the next five years.
Tognum America Inc. expanding its Research and Development Center in Aiken County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Tognum America Inc., an American subsidiary of Tognum AG and a leader for propulsion and power solutions, today announced plans to expand its Research and Development Center at the MTU Aiken County plant. The $22.5 million investment is expected to generate 10 new jobs, and will double the center’s development capacity with the addition of two new test cells for off-highway diesel engines.
Thomas & Betts Corporation expanding operations in Lancaster County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Thomas & Betts Corporation, a manufacturer of steel power transmission structures for the utility industry, plans to expand its current manufacturing operations in Lancaster County. This expansion is expected to increase the number of employees at the plant by roughly 30 percent in 2013.
Sportsman Boats Manufacturing expanding operations in Dorchester County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sportsman Boats Manufacturing plans to expand its current operations in Dorchester County with a move into a larger facility. The $2.35 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs within the next five years.
SKF Group expanding facility in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – SKF Group, a maker of precision bearings, today announced that it will expand its existing operations in Charleston County. The $3 million investment is expected to generate up to 25 new jobs over the next three years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – SC Tool Inc., which specializes in the manufacturing and reconditioning of precision cutting tools, is expanding its existing operations in Greenville County. The $1.25 million investment is expected to generate 30 new jobs.
Outokumpu Stainless Bar expanding operations with new facility in Chester County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Outokumpu Stainless Bar, a metal fabrication company, will expand its operations in Chester County with the construction of a new plant. The $18 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs.
National Beverage Screen Printers Inc. expanding operations in Barnwell County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – National Beverage Screen Printers Inc. (NBS) will expand its existing operations in Barnwell County. The $2.5 million investment is expected to generate 80 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mediterranean Shipping Company, a leader in the container shipping industry, today announced plans to expand operations at its Charleston County facility. The company will invest more than $1.7 million and is expected to create 30 additional new jobs.
