COLUMBIA, S.C. – McCall Farms Inc., a producer of Southern canned and frozen vegetables, announced today the expansion of its existing operations in Florence County. The $10.6 million investment is expected to generate 80 new jobs over the next three years.
LowCountry Biomass LLC expands Jasper County facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – LowCountry Biomass, a recycler of wood residues, today announced plans to expand its existing wood pellet manufacturing operations in Jasper County. The $16 million investment is expected to generate 26 new jobs.

Lollis Metals Inc. expanding in Anderson County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Lollis Metals Inc., a metal fabrication and machine shop, today announced plans to expand its existing Anderson County operations. The $3 million investment is expected to generate 25 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – JTEKT Corporation, an automotive systems and industrial components supplier, announced plans today to expand its Koyo brand bearing manufacturing facility in Richland County, South Carolina. The $130 million investment is expected to generate 175 new jobs over the next three years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ionic Technologies Inc., a provider of high-quality heat treating and coating services to manufacturers to improve wear resistance on metal surfaces, will double the size of its existing operations in Greenville County. The $10 million investment is expected to generate at least 13 new jobs as the new facility becomes fully operational.
INVISTA expanding its Kershaw County production plant
COLUMBIA, S.C. – INVISTA will grow its Performance Surfaces & Materials business at its Camden production facility to better serve its carpet mill customer base located throughout the U.S., specifically in the southeast region. The $20 million investment is expected to create about 50 new jobs in Camden by the first part of 2014.
Honda marks 2.5 millionth ATV built in South Carolina, commits to plant expansion
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Honda of South Carolina Mfg. Inc. (HSC) today marked its 2.5 millionth all-terrain vehicle (ATV) production milestone. The company also announced that it will add production of Honda’s next generation of side-by-side (multi-utility vehicle) products in mid-2013 at its Florence County plant. The $27 million investment is expected to generate more than 65 new jobs.
