Chester Wood Products expanding in Chester County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Chester Wood Products, a maker and distributor of wood products for the industrial and commercial construction markets, today announced expansion plans for its Chester County facility. The $10 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs.

Caterpillar expanding in Sumter County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Caterpillar Inc., manufacturer of the yellow and black iconic construction equipment, announced today plans to expand its hydraulic facility in Sumter’s Black River Airport Industrial Park. The $20 million investment is expected to create more than 80 new jobs over two years, once the expansion is completed.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Carolina Canners Inc., an independent Pepsi bottler and production cooperative, today announced plans to expand its facility in Chesterfield County. The $20.8 million investment is expected to generate at least 10 new jobs.
The Doc Depot Announces Expansion in Barnwell County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Doc Depot Inc., a medical document retrieval service, today announced plans to expand its existing operations in Barnwell County. The $250,000 investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.
