The $4.5 million investment is expected to generate 10 additional new jobs.

Shimano expanding operations in Charleston County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Shimano American Corporation, a maker of fishing tackle and bicycle components, today announced the expansion of its distribution center in Charleston County. The expansion will double the company’s original investment and increase employment at the facility by 50 percent. The company broke ground on the new construction today.

Servosity expanding operations in Greenville County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Greenville-based Servosity Inc., a developer and provider of data backup and disaster recovery solutions to managed service providers and IT resellers, today announced plans to expand its operations in Greenville County. The company expects to generate 30 new jobs over the next 12 to 18 months.

According to Damien Stevens, CEO of Servosity, the company will expand its support teams and infrastructure to meet the increasing needs of a growing customer base.
