Autoneum expanding Aiken County operations

Fitesa expanding existing operations in Greenville County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fitesa Simpsonville, Inc., a global leader and innovator in the design and manufacture of nonwoven fabric solutions for the global hygiene market, will further expand its existing facility in Greenville County to increase production capacity. The $52,000,000 investment is expected to create an additional 38 jobs over the next five years.
Atlas Copco constructing new facility in Rock Hill
Columbia, SC – Atlas Copco, an industrial group which develops and manufactures industrial tools and construction equipment, is moving its Medical Gas Solutions Division, along with production and assembly for its U.S. Construction Technique into a new facility in Riverwalk Business Park. The expansion will result in a $20 million investment.

Advanta expanding its existing operations in Clarendon County

Swiss Krono Group announces a $230 million expansion in Barnwell County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Swiss Krono Group, one of the world’s leading producers of engineered wood products, and its American subsidiary, KronotexUSA Holdings, Inc., today announced the expansion of its existing operations in Barnwell County. The company is investing $230 million to build a high-density fiberboard (HDF) mill and expand its laminate flooring production, creating 105 new jobs over the next few years.
