COLUMBIA, S.C. – Burnt Church Distillery, a locally-run distillery based out of Bluffton, S.C., is launching new operations in Beaufort County. The company’s $7.7 million investment is projected to create approximately 27 new manufacturing jobs.

Burnt Church Distillery will be a 20,000-square-foot distillery which includes a 7,000-square-foot space for tastings, events, merchandise and displays of historical research. The site will also include a 5,000-square-foot rack house for the storage of aging whiskey barrels.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Eclipse Automation, a provider of automated systems for a variety of industries, today announced plans to locate new operations in York County. The company’s $4.6 million investment is projected to create 90 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Miwon Specialty Chemical Co. USA, a specialty chemical manufacturer of raw materials and subsidiary of Miwon Specialty Chemical Co. Ltd., today announced plans to locate new production operations in Richland County. The company’s $19.5 million investment is projected to create 25 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fuyao North America Inc., a venture of China-based Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co. Ltd. (Fuyao Group), is launching a new processing center in Greenville County. The company’s $16.1 million investment is projected to create approximately 70 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Renewable Properties, a leading developer in the residential, commercial and utility-scale solar markets, is growing its solar farm portfolio with seven new solar facilities in Spartanburg County. The company is projected to invest a total of approximately $22.7 million in the projects.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – VTL Precision, a leading developer and manufacturer of precision-engineered engine, transmission and turbocharger components for the commercial vehicle and passenger car markets, is locating new operations in Berkeley County. The company’s $8.2 million investment is projected to create 10 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – ServiceMac, a mortgage subservicing company, today announced plans to locate new operations in Lancaster County. The company’s $24 million capital investment is projected to create approximately 1,000 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – EOC Naturals today announced plans to locate a new, all-natural pet treat manufacturing facility in Allendale County. The development is projected to bring $3.3 million in capital investment and create 76 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Owens Corning, a developer and producer of insulation, roofing and fiberglass composites, has acquired an existing manufacturing facility in Blythewood, S.C., where it will manufacture coated, non-woven products for a variety of applications within the North American building materials industry. The company’s $13.6 million capital investment is projected to bring 16 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – W International, a full-service manufacturer of large, complex, welded metal fabrications, today announced plans to locate new production operations in Berkeley County. The company’s $35.2 million capital investment is projected to create more than 600 new jobs.
