COLUMBIA, S.C. – SolAmerica Energy, a full-service provider of solar energy, is launching a new operation in Edgefield County. This new 10-megawatt (MW) project is expected to bring approximately $13 million of new capital investment.

SolAmerica Energy develops, finances, constructs and operates commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. Based in Atlanta, Ga., the company has built solar projects for many of the leading companies in the Southeast and has developed projects for nationally-recognized investors and owner-operators.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Arthrex, Inc., a global orthopedic medical device company, headquartered in Naples, Fla., is launching new manufacturing operations in Anderson County. The $69 million capital investment is expected to create more than 1,000 new jobs over the next several years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Diversey, a leading global provider of cleaning and hygiene solutions, announced today that it is locating its corporate headquarters in York County. The development is projected to bring $6.1 million in investment and create approximately 400 jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – American Scrappers is establishing operations in Dillon County with the launch of a new distribution and logistics center. The company’s $15.5 million investment is expected to create 200 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) and GE Aviation have selected the property adjacent to ATI’s Richburg, S.C. operations as the site for a new research and development (R&D) facility. This joint venture is expected to create 29 new jobs.

ATI (NYSE: ATI) is a global manufacturer of technically-advanced specialty materials and complex components and is a market leader in manufacturing differentiated products. ATI is a leader in producing powders for use in next-generation jet engine forgings and 3D-printed aerospace products.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Isringhausen, a global leader in the development of seating systems for commercial vehicles, is launching new operations in Charleston County. Located in Ladson, the facility is projected to bring more than 130 new jobs to the area in the coming years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Charter NEX Films is locating new specialty film manufacturing operations in Richland County. The project is expected to bring $85 million of capital investment and lead to the creation of more than 110 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Don Construction Products (DCP), a U.K.-based world leader in developing, manufacturing and marketing advanced technology products for the construction industry, is launching its first U.S. manufacturing operations in Lancaster County. The new development is projected to bring $6.2 million in capital investment and create 21 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – bo parts GmbH, a tier one and tier two supplier to the automotive industry and part of the FRIMO Group, is launching new operations in Greenville County. The new development is projected to bring $4.1 million of capital investment and create 100 new jobs within the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Safeplast NA Company, a manufacturer and provider of hose protectors and hose binding products, is launching a new facility in Pickens County. The $4.3 million investment is projected to create 30 new jobs.
