SolAmerica Energy launching solar operation in Edgefield County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – SolAmerica Energy, a full-service provider of solar energy, is launching a new operation in Edgefield County. This new 10-megawatt (MW) project is expected to bring approximately $13 million of new capital investment.

SolAmerica Energy develops, finances, constructs and operates commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects. Based in Atlanta, Ga., the company has built solar projects for many of the leading companies in the Southeast and has developed projects for nationally-recognized investors and owner-operators.

Arthrex, Inc. creating more than 1,000 new jobs in Anderson County

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Arthrex, Inc., a global orthopedic medical device company, headquartered in Naples, Fla., is launching new manufacturing operations in Anderson County. The $69 million capital investment is expected to create more than 1,000 new jobs over the next several years.

ATI and GE Aviation investing in joint Chester County operations

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI) and GE Aviation have selected the property adjacent to ATI’s Richburg, S.C. operations as the site for a new research and development (R&D) facility. This joint venture is expected to create 29 new jobs.

ATI (NYSE: ATI) is a global manufacturer of technically-advanced specialty materials and complex components and is a market leader in manufacturing differentiated products. ATI is a leader in producing powders for use in next-generation jet engine forgings and 3D-printed aerospace products.
