Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Greenville Area Development Corporation today announced that PRETTL Electronics Greenville Inc., a new enterprise, will launch operations this summer to produce inverters for the fast-growing solar panel and wind turbine industries. The new operation will be housed at PRETTL Electric Corporation’s existing Greenville County facility.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 29, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Berkeley County and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance today announced that Tire International (TRIE: OTC Markets), a tire recycler and maker of rubber products, is establishing a new recycling and manufacturing facility in Berkeley County. The $25 million investment is expected to generate 150 new jobs.Tire International has established a third-generation recycling and manufacturing operation in Moncks Corner.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – June 7, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Alliance Pickens today announced that VCI-SC Inc., a metal working firm, will establish its new facility in Pickens County. The $2 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – May 25, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the City of Greenville and the Greenville Area Development Corporation today announced that CertusBank N.A., a nationally chartered bank that is a subsidiary of Blue Ridge Holdings Inc., will establish the company’s headquarters in Greenville and create 350 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – May 5, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Dorchester County today announced that Southeast Renewable Energy will build its new renewable energy facility in Dorchester County. The $50 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 28, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Town of Jonesville and the Union County Development Board today announced that Textile Trends will establish its new production facility in Union County. The nearly $440,000 investment is expected to generate 100 new jobs.

Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Lexington County and the Central SC Alliance today announced that Interstate Container will establish its new manufacturing facility in Lexington County. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, the Laurens County Development Corporation and Laurens County today announced that Flame Spray S.p.A., an Italian international group and leading maker of thermal spray coatings, will establish its new production facility in Laurens County.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – April 13, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Union County Development Board today announced that ESAB Welding & Cutting Products will open a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Union County.
