The Automotive B2B supplier matchmaker event, taking place during the S.C. Automotive Summit in Greenville, S.C., will provide an opportunity for suppliers to meet with desired OEM and tier one companies. The B2B event will take place Wednesday, February 26 at the Hyatt Regency Greenvile. 

The B2B Matchmaker event is open to any company located in South Carolina that manufactures a product or provides a service. *You must have a South Carolina location to be eligible to participate. 

Save the date for the 2020 S.C. Automotive Summit coming up in Greenville. The event draws C-level executives and other top decision makers of OEMs, tier one, two and three suppliers, leading research institutions and other organizations directly tied to the automotive industry.

The SC Department of Commerce is partnering with Van Hool to host a plastics supplier outreach event in Duncan. Based in Belgium, the company is building a vehicle manufacturing facility in Tennessee and is interested in broad regional sourcing for parts production. Specifically, Van Hool is seeking manufacturing techniques for the following: 

• Sheet thermoforming 
• Extrusion (plastic profiles)
• Glass reinforced plastic parts
• Dicyclopentadiene reaction injection molding
• Polyurethane compact foam

The SC Department of Commerce will be exhibiting at the 2019 Paris Air Show to promote the Palmetto State for foreign investment projects and help South Carolina firms reach the world's aerospace markets. Participating companies will be able to meet, one-on-one, with prospective distributors and clients. 

The BMW Supplier Diversity Matchmaker Conference is an initiative in support of BMW's belief that diversity among its suppliers adds value throughout the organization and is imperative to their business. Taking place this April in Greenville, SC, the 2019 conference will provide a great platform for South Carolina businesses to connect with BMW leadership and build relationships with other automotive suppliers. 

The fifth annual SC Automotive B2B Supplier Matchmaker event is an opportunity for automotive suppliers to connect with original equipment manufacturers and tier one suppliers. The event will include a procument panel discussion, one-on-one meetings and access to the SC Automotive Summit opening reception.

The pre-registration deadline is January 14, 2019. 

The SC Department of Commerce, SCBizNews and the SC Manufacturing Extension Partnership are collaborating to host a business-to-business supplier networking session as part of the South Carolina Manufacturing Conference on September 11, 2018. Taking place at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, the session will feature original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and tier one suppliers, all in one hall, available to meet suppliers and learn about their products and services. 

The registration deadline is August 8, 2018. 

The SC Department of Commerce will be hosting a business-to-business supplier matchmaker event as part of the annual SC Aerospace Conference and Expo. 

The matchmaker event is an opportunity for aerospace suppliers to connect with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and tier one suppliers. The event is an industry focused “speed-dating” event between procurement representatives and potential manufacturing suppliers.
