The more than $5 million investment plan is expected to generate 18 new jobs.

Representing a capital investment of $2.3 million, the new development will lead to the creation of more than 30 jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Thunderbolt Biomass, Inc., a manufacturer of wood pellets from sawmill residuals, is launching new processing operations in Allendale County. The company is planning to invest $6 million in the project, creating 35 new jobs.
