COLUMBIA, S.C. – MP Husky, one of the leading manufacturers of Cable Tray and Cable Bus systems in the United States and Canada, is expanding its existing manufacturing operations in Greenville County. To accommodate increased customer demand, the company will be creating 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – USFibers, a manufacturer of recycled polyester fiber, today announced plans to expand its current operations in Edgefield County. The company intends to create more than 20 jobs to accommodate its continued growth and expand its product offerings.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ascend Performance Materials (Ascend), a global provider of high-quality fibers, chemicals and plastics, is expanding its Greenwood County operations. To accommodate its continued growth, the company is projected to invest $3.8 million and create 20 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Oxco, Inc., a light manufacturer and supplier of non-woven materials, is launching new operations in York County to accommodate the company’s continued growth. The project is expected to bring approximately $13 million in new capital investment and create more than 130 new jobs.

Established in Charlotte, N.C. in 1994, Oxco operates within the non-woven industrial fabrics industry and is a light manufacturer and supplier of non-woven materials for a variety of markets and end-use applications.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – PIDC (Pacific Industrial Development Corporation), a specialty chemicals manufacturer, intends to open a manufacturing facility in Spartanburg County. The development is projected to bring at least $13 million of capital investment and create 53 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Emerson, which manufactures and markets ASCO fluid automation products for a wide range of process and manufacturing industry applications, is expanding its ASCO operations in Aiken County. The expansion is expected to bring more than $8 million of capital investment and create 86 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sundaram-Clayton Limited (SCL), a leading Indian manufacturer and supplier of aluminum cast products to global automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), today announced that it will be launching its first U.S. manufacturing operations in Dorchester County. By investing $50 million, the company is expecting to create 130 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Fukoku America, a manufacturer of rubber and plastic automotive products is growing its operations in Laurens County. The expansion is expected to bring $13.9 million in new investment and lead to the creation of 65 jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Alimex, a producer of precision aluminum plates, is launching operations in Richland County. The company is bringing $2 million of new capital investment and creating 27 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – March 16, 2011 – Gov. Nikki Haley, the South Carolina Department of Commerce and Georgetown County today announced that 3V Incorporated will expand its operations in Georgetown County. The plan includes a $15 million investment and the creation of 30 new jobs over the next five years.
