COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 29, 2011 – AvCraft Technical Services, an aircraft maintenance, repair and modification provider, today announced plans to expand its current operations in Horry County. The $1 million investment is expected to generate 150 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Toray Industries, Inc. today announced it has signed a comprehensive long-term agreement with The Boeing Company to supply carbon fiber TORAYCA® prepreg for the production of the new Boeing 777X aircraft, extending the existing supply agreement for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The new agreement extends the comprehensive agreement that was signed in November 2005 by more than 10 years from this year. COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 9, 2013 – Ulbrich Precision Flat Wire, Inc., a division of Ulbrich Stainless Steels and Special Metals, Inc., announces a $5 million dollar investment for the expansion of their Westminster, S.C., operations. The state-of-the-art wire rolling facility produces precision flat and fine wire products, as well as, photovoltaic ribbon used in the manufacture of solar modules. The Westminster plant also operates a focus factory dedicated to the research and development of new products and processes.
