Schaeffler Group USA is investing $1.4 million to upgrade its manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A company that develops and manufactures precision products for machines, equipment and vehicles as well as in aviation and aerospace applications is expanding its operations in Chesterfield County. Schaeffler Group USA is investing $97.4 million to expand its manufacturing facilities in Cheraw, S.C., creating an expected 331 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Standard Textile, a leading global provider of end-to-end solutions for the institutional textile and apparel markets, is expanding its Union County manufacturing facility. The $5 million capital investment is expected to create 35 new jobs in Union, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Wyman-Gordon, a manufacturer of large titanium and super alloy forgings for the aerospace and power generation markets, will establish its newest manufacturing operations in Dillon County. The investment is expected to create more than 400 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Advanced Ceramic Coatings (ACC), a 50-50 joint venture between GE Aviation and Turbocoating Corporation, will be launching new operations in Spartanburg County. This project represents $15 million in new capital investment and the creation of 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – JR Automation Technologies, LLC, a global leader in custom automation solutions, is expanding its existing operations in Pickens County. The expansion will result in the creation of 56 new jobs and a capital investment of $3.4 million.

COLUMBIA, SC – Kingman Airline Services, an Arizona-based maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, today announced plans to establish operations in Horry County. The company will hire approximately 180 employees, and make a capital investment of $2.5 million.
