FoxFarm Soil and Fertilizer Company is investing $6.9 million to locate in Pendleton S.C., creating an expected 27 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A developer of innovative solutions for pet food manufacturers is expanding its operations in Greenwood County. SPF North America, Inc. is investing $12 million to expand its plant in Hodges, S.C. The investment is expected to create 15 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mount Franklin Foods, a leading North American manufacturer of high-quality candy and nut products, is launching new operations in Sumter County. The project is expected to bring $10 million in new capital investment and lead to the creation of 225 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 11, 2012 – amFOG Farms LLC, a gourmet mushroom producer, today announced plans to relocate its headquarters and construct a state-of-the-art production facility near Hardeeville. The new facility is expected to generate seven new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – January 26, 2011 – The South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Economic Futures Group of Spartanburg County today announced that Atlantic Beverage Inc. will locate its new bottling operation in Spartanburg County. The $10 million investment is expected to generate 300 new jobs over the next two years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Carolina Chips, Inc., a subsidiary of The Price Companies, Inc., is establishing new operations in Orangeburg County. A leader in wood processing, the company is investing more than $32 million in the facility, creating 15 new jobs. The operation will produce wood chips and processed bark for the KapStone paper mill in North Charleston, S.C.

COLUMBIA, SC – West Fraser, a diversified wood products company, is expanding its Newberry County sawmill operations. The project is expected to bring $33 million in new capital investment.

COLUMBIA, SC – An independent Pepsi bottler and production cooperative, Carolina Canners, Inc., is expanding its Chesterfield County operations. The $45 million capital investment is expected to generate 40 new jobs.
