COLUMBIA, S.C. – Haddon House Food Products, the largest privately-owned distributor, importer and exporter of specialty, natural, organic, ethnic and kosher foods, is expanding its Chester County operations. The company is investing $4.6 million to expand its operations in Richburg, S.C. The investment is expected to create 55 new jobs.
Southeast Frozen Foods expanding Calhoun County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Southeast Frozen Foods, a company which provides retail distribution to grocery stores and cold storage for processors, manufacturers and distributors, is expanding its operations in Calhoun County. This new expansion will result in a capital investment of $6 million and create 30 new jobs. This is Southeast Frozen Foods’ third expansion over the last eight years, representing more than $20 million in cumulative capital investments and more than 100 jobs created.
Cox Industries, Inc. expanding Orangeburg County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Cox Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of treated outdoor wood products, is expanding its Orangeburg County operations. The company is investing $11.2 million to expand and upgrade its facilities in Eutawville, Bowman, Orangeburg and Branchville, S.C. The investment is expected to create 60 new jobs over the next five years.
Portucel, S.A. establishing operations in Greenwood County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – An industrial company is establishing operations in Greenwood County to convert forest matter into wood pellets. Portucel, S.A. is investing $110 million to open a manufacturing facility in Greenwood, S.C. The investment is expected to create 70 new jobs.
Quality Farms to establish first Southeast presence in Marion County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – A processor and convertor of wine and beer waste into fuel-grade ethanol and livestock feed is establishing operations in Marion County. Quality Farms is investing $1.9 million resulting in the creation of 27 new jobs in Mullins, S.C.

FoxFarm Soil and Fertilizer Company is investing $6.9 million to locate in Pendleton S.C., creating an expected 27 new jobs.
