Highland Baking Company locating in Spartanburg County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – February 2, 2012 – Highland Baking Company, a wholesale bread baking company, today announced plans to locate its new production facility in Spartanburg County. The $9.48 million investment is expected to generate 196 new jobs over the next five years.

Canfor Southern Pine to expand Darlington lumber facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 18, 2013 – Due to increased global demand for southern yellow pine lumber, Canfor Southern Pine is expanding its existing operations in Darlington County. The $8 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs through the addition of a second shift at the manufacturing facility.
McCall Farms Inc. to expand canning operations in Florence County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 12, 2013 – McCall Farms Inc., a producer of Southern canned and frozen vegetables in Florence County, announced today the addition of a new canning line, Bruce’s Yams. The $19.3 million investment is expected to generate 140 new jobs over the next five years.
Sweet Street Desserts selects Greenville for new facility

The company is investing at least $110 million, with the potential for additional investment. The project is expected to create 134 new jobs in Barnwell, S.C.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Silver Springs Bottled Water Company, a bottled water manufacturing firm, is acquiring and expanding Hickory Springs Bottling, Inc.’s existing Calhoun County operations. The $16.3 million investment is expected to generate 37 new jobs over the next five years.
Red Bone Alley Foods, LLC expanding Florence County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Red Bone Alley Foods, LLC, a company that provides fresh and innovative South Carolina regional cuisine is expanding its operations in Florence County. The $3.5 million investment will establish sauce, marinade and spice production manufacturing operations, creating an expected 45 new jobs in Florence, S.C.
Arauco expanding existing panel operations in Marlboro County
