COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mid-States Packaging, Inc., a full-service logistics and warehousing provider, is locating new operations in Charleston County. The $5.2 million investment is expected to bring 30 new jobs to the community.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – TIGGES USA LLC, a subsidiary of Wuppertal, Germany-based TIGGES GmbH, will establish its first North American facility at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville County. The $1.5 million investment is expected to generate at least five new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mediterranean Shipping Company, a leader in the container shipping industry, today announced plans to expand operations at its Charleston County facility. The company will invest more than $1.7 million and is expected to create 30 additional new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Lindoerfer + Steiner GmbH, a maker of packaging for automotive suppliers, is establishing its new North American production facility in Spartanburg County. The $400,000 investment is expected to generate 32 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – HARTMANN USA Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of medical products, will expand its current operations in York County. The $18 million investment is expected to generate 75 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Harbor Freight Tools USA Inc., a rapidly expanding discount tool retailer with over 430 stores nationwide, will greatly expand its existing distribution center in Dillon County. The approximately $75 million investment is expected to generate 200 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Exel, a North American leader in supply chain management, is planning to establish a new distribution facility in York County. Exel is investing $38 million in a project that is expected to generate 133 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Contec Inc., a maker of cleaning contamination control products for critical environments, will expand its existing operations in Spartanburg County. The $6.25 million investment is expected to generate 60 new jobs over the next five years. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Constantia Hueck Foils LLC, an Austria-based manufacturer of foil- and film-based packaging, will expand its current production facility in Richland County. The $12 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Advanta Southeast, a maker of reusable packaging, will locate its new operating facility in Clarendon County. The $3.5 million investment is expected to generate 30 new jobs.
