Electrolux investing additional $30 million in Anderson County refrigerator facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Electrolux is investing $30 million over the next two years in its Anderson, S.C. manufacturing facility, which provides top-freezer refrigerators as well as under-the-counter models. The investment will add advanced manufacturing capability and enhance capacity.
This new investment is in addition to the more than $30 million the company has invested in the Anderson facility since 2011, which included the Refrigeration Research and Development Center as well as other improvements.
Scout Boats Inc. to create 300 jobs with Dorchester County facility expansion

Daimler Vans Manufacturing expanding in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – September 12, 2013 – Daimler Vans Manufacturing today announced that it will expand its existing facility in Charleston County. The more than $4.6 million investment is expected to generate at least 60 new jobs.

ZF Transmissions expands plant in Laurens County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – July 26, 2013 – ZF, a global supplier of driveline and chassis technology, will expand its operations in Laurens County, opening the company’s first-ever passenger car transmission plant in the U.S. The expansion will create 450 new jobs and more than $175 million in capital investment. Part of the largest single venture in ZF’s history outside of Germany, the new plant will be the third expansion in four years for ZF, and brings the company’s total investment to more than $600 million in South Carolina.
Standard Textile expanding facility in Union County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – July 22, 2013 – Standard Textile today announced plans to expand its existing operations in Union County. The more than $2.5 million investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs.

Aerial Options expanding in Marion County
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Aerial Options, a manufacturer and global supplier of water systems for the aerial fire truck industry, is expanding its Marion County plant. The company's $410,000 investment is expected to add 5,000-10,000 square feet to its existing footprint along with 13 new positions, effectively doubling the Mullins, S.C. facility's current employment level.
Suminoe Textile of America Corporation to expand Cherokee County facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Suminoe Textile of America Corporation, a supplier of textile products for the North American automotive market, is expanding its needle punch carpet facility in Cherokee County that makes automotive carpeting. The $5 million investment is expected to create 100 new jobs.
Suminoe is the wholly owned subsidiary of Suminoe Textile Ltd., which originated in Japan more than 125 years ago. Suminoe Textile of America Corporation began operations in the United States at its Gaffney facility in 2003.

Copac expands Spartanburg County operations
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Copac Global Packaging, a leading provider of packaging services to domestic and global customers, today announced the completion of its expansion at its Spartanburg County facility. The $14.8 million expansion is expected to create 32 new jobs.
Copac has constructed an additional 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space at its facility to increase productivity and add capacity. The larger facility also will allow the company to consolidate operations that are currently performed in separate buildings into a single, more efficient workflow.
BMW announces $1 billion expansion creating 800 new jobs
COLUMBIA, S.C. - BMW announced today that the company will expand its plant in Spartanburg County with a $1 billion investment, which is expected to create 800 new jobs.
