COLUMBIA, S.C. - TDC Cutting Tools, Inc. will establish its overseas headquarters in Oconee County at the same site as its subsidiary, Greenfield Industries, resulting in an additional 38 new positions in Seneca. The company, which is based in China, will invest $8.2 million in the construction of the new TDC Overseas campus, including a 32,000-square-foot office building and a 10,000-square-foot recycling center added to the existing 168,000-square-foot facility.

COLUMBIA, S.C. –Kronotex USA, one of the largest producers of laminate flooring in the United States, is announcing the ongoing expansion of its operations in Barnwell County.  The $29.5 million investment is expected to create 28 new jobs with plans to add a new paper impregnation process to enhance and diversify designs of its finished products. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Dixie Poly-Drum Corporation, a leading manufacturer of plastic safety and workplace efficiency products, is rebuilding its facility in Hampton County after a fire forced the company to close its doors six months ago.  The company plans to reinvest $1.1 million in rebuilding the facility, creating 84 jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Less than a year after establishing local operations, The BID Group of Companies, a British Columbia-based equipment manufacturer for the forest industry, will expand its Comact Equipment U.S. Inc. manufacturing facility in Dorchester County. The capital investment, totaling $1.8 million, is expected to generate approximately 60 new jobs - more than doubling the facility's current employment. Comact, located at 176 Academy Road in St.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - RPA Development LLC, a designer and manufacturer of fencing and railing products as well as the machines to produce them, has purchased and will upfit a 90,000-square-foot facility in Mauldin to meet growing international and domestic demand for its products. The undisclosed investment is expected to add at least 43 new jobs. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Worthington Industries Engineered Cabs LLC, a market leader in the design and manufacturing of high-quality, custom-engineered operator cabs for industrial mobile equipment, is expanding its South Carolina manufacturing operations in Florence County for the second time in two years. The $2.5 million investment will result in 40 new jobs.
