Sandvik, Inc. announces $12 million expansion in Oconee County
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Sandvik, Inc., manufacturer of carbide inserts for the metal cutting industry and subsidiary of the Swedish company Sandvik, AB, is expanding its operations in Oconee County. The $12 million investment is expected to increase the company's production at its Westminster facility.
"This investment is a continuation of our commitment to maintain world class manufacturing in our Westminster facility" as was stated by Anders Hillman, Director of the Westminster Production Unit.
CHOMARAT North America expanding Anderson County facility

The $10 million investment will bring 20 new jobs along with new equipment and additional manufacturing space.
Stueken LLC announces expansion in Greenville County

Shaw to expand South Carolina carpet fiber plant
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Shaw Industries, Inc. (Shaw) has announced it is investing at least $45 million in its Lexington County, S.C. carpet fiber plant for additional capacity for both nylon and polyester production. The investment will create more than 50 new jobs.
Haier America expands Kershaw County operations

The company is investing $18.8 million in the expansion and will create 100 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Honda of South Carolina Manufacturing, Inc., a company that specializes in the manufacturing of world-class all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and side-by-side (SxS) vehicles, is expanding its existing Florence County operations, with the addition of two new product lines – the Pioneer 1000 and the Pioneer 1000-5. The company is investing $42 million to launch the new lines, resulting in the creation of 44 new jobs.
