COLUMBIA, S.C. – Luray Peanut Co., a producer of packaged boiled peanuts, today announced plans to expand its operations in Hampton County. The company’s $5.25 million investment will create 16 new jobs.

Luray Peanut Co.’s original recipe and Cajun boiled peanut products are available for purchase in convenience stores, grocery stores and stadiums.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nova Molecular Technologies (Nova), a high-purity solvents manufacturer, today announced it is expanding its operations in Sumter County. The company’s $23.75 million investment will create 20 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Flame Spray North America, a thermal spray coatings manufacturer, today announced it is expanding its operations in Laurens County. The company’s $2.5 million investment will create 40 new jobs. 

Part of Flame Spray S.p.A., Flame Spray North America offers a complete portfolio of thermal spray coating and heat treatment services. The company’s only North American facility, located at 576 International Blvd. in Fountain Inn, primarily aims to serve the industrial gas turbine and aerospace markets.

Carolina Structural Systems, a manufacturer of structural wood component systems, is establishing its first South Carolina operation in Anderson County. The $4.7 million investment will create 60 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Alupress, LLC (Alupress), a manufacturer of automotive die casting components, today announced plans to expand operations in Laurens County. The company’s $25.98 million investment will create 64 new jobs. 

Founded in 1965, Alupress offers full-service system solutions to its customers by providing in-house development, project management and production.

AESC, a world-leading electric vehicle battery technology company, today announced the expansion of its state-of-the-art battery cell facility in Florence County. The $810 million investment will create 450 new jobs. Expected to be complete by 2026, this new commitment follows AESC’s initial announcement in December 2022 of $810 million and 1,170 jobs, resulting in a total investment of $1.62 billion and 1,620 new jobs.

JTEKT North America, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, bearing solutions and high-performance machine tools, today announced it is expanding its manufacturing operation in Greenville County. The $48.4 million investment will create 87 new jobs.

Additive Plastics Group, LLC (APG), a premier manufacturer of color and additive concentrates, specialty compounds and custom engineered products, today announced it is expanding in Anderson County. The $6.2 million investment will create 24 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – TMC Transportation, one of the trucking industry’s premier flatbed carriers, today announced it is growing its Southeast presence with the expansion of its regional headquarters in Richland County. The $38 million investment will create 185 new jobs.

Employee-owned TMC Transportation has more than 50 years of experience in the trucking industry and a 25-year history in South Carolina. The company is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, and has a network of terminals and service centers throughout the U.S.

Sage Automotive Interiors (Sage), a manufacturer of automotive interior materials, today announced it is expanding its Sharon Plant in Abbeville County. The $10.45 million investment will create 95 new jobs.
