How S.C. Commerce's Business Services team helps companies expand their reach

With high growth potential and average wages nearly 80% above the state’s average, the industry’s upward trajectory is part of its selection as one of three target sectors in S.C. Commerce’s new strategic framework to guide future economic development efforts, announced in January 2024.

To build upon decades of economic development achievement while aligning the state for long-term competitiveness in the face of such change, S.C. Commerce also unveiled its new brand during The Governor’s Economic Summit. The new tagline, “Launch to Legacy,” reinforces that companies can start, thrive, expand and build a legacy anywhere in the Palmetto State.
