COLUMBIA, S.C. – Top Edge Components, LLC, a subsidiary of Yoder’s, today announced plans to establish operations in Anderson County. The $2.9 million investment will create 25 new jobs.

Located at 7027 Highway 24 in Townville, Top Edge Components, LLC’s new 22,500-square-foot facility will provide floor and roof wooden trusses, along with other engineered materials, for commercial, residential and agricultural purposes.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Accudraft Finishing Systems (Accudraft), a leading global finishing systems company, today announced plans to establish operations in Aiken County. The $4.7 million investment will create 42 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – MECART, Inc., a leader in cleanroom environments and a manufacturer of custom-designed acoustical modular buildings, today announced plans to establish operations in Greenville County. The $2 million investment will create 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Shenandoah Growers, Inc., a national leader in commercially advanced indoor agriculture, today broke ground on its next indoor ‘Biofarm,’ located in Anderson County. The project will create 50 local, well-paying jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Malouf Companies (Malouf), a diverse consumer goods business, today announced plans to establish operations in Laurens County. The $47.2 million investment will create 240 new jobs.

Founded in 2003, Malouf warehouses and distributes home furnishings and other consumer products, while also providing technology, retail and logistics services throughout the United States.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – BRN Sleep Products, a premium manufacturer and supplier of bedding products, today announced plans to establish operations in Orangeburg County. The more than $4.3 million investment will create more than 300 new jobs.

Founded in Turkey in 2006, BRN Sleep Products specializes in the manufacturing and assembly of mattresses and bases as well as marketing, distribution and sale of bed products.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Barnwell PV 1, LLC, a solar solutions company, today announced plans to establish operations in Barnwell County. The company is investing $75 million into the project.

Founded in 2010, Barnwell PV 1, LLC is a leading developer of renewable energy generation facilities. The company develops, constructs, owns and operates renewable energy projects at utility scale in six countries.

Located on Patterson Mill Road in Snelling, the company’s new facility is expected to be operational by June 2023.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Last Step Recycling, LLC, an automotive shredder residue (ASR) company, today announced plans to establish operations in Chester County. The $46.4 million investment will create 50 new jobs.

Founded in 2019, Last Step Recycling, LLC processes ASR to capture metals such as copper, aluminum and other resources. These recycled metals are then used in appliances, automobiles and technology equipment across numerous industries.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Prestage Farms of South Carolina, LLC, a division of Prestage Farms, today announced plans to construct a new processing facility in Kershaw County. The $150 million investment will create 292 new jobs.

Founded in 1983, Prestage Farms is a family-owned, family-led producer of quality pork and poultry products. With facilities in seven states and more than 2,700 employees, Prestage Farms has operated in South Carolina since 1994.
