COLUMBIA, S.C. – Quality Electronic Manufacturing Services, Inc. (QEMS), a provider of electronics manufacturing services, today announced that it has located new operations in York County. The company’s $7.6 million investment is projected to create 110 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Domino’s, the Michigan-based pizza restaurant chain, today announced plans to open a new processing facility in Lexington County. The company’s new project is slated to create 75 jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gnotec Group, a supplier to the automotive industry, is locating new operations in Orangeburg County. The company’s $5.9 million investment is projected to create 78 new jobs in the community.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – British Airways, a full-service global airline, today announced plans for new, non-stop air service between London’s Heathrow Airport and the Charleston International Airport. The twice-weekly flight, slated to start in April 2019, marks the first direct trans-Atlantic flight from the state of South Carolina.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Huvis Indorama Advanced Materials, a 50-50 joint venture between Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited and South Korea-based Huvis Corporation, is launching new manufacturing operations at Auriga Polymers, Inc.’s campus in Spartanburg County. The $48 million investment is projected to create 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Linde Hydraulics Corporation, a global manufacturer of hydraulic and electronic drive systems, today announced plans to locate new production operations in York County. The company’s $13.4 million investment is projected to create more than 60 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Southern Current, a leading developer in the residential, commercial and utility-scale solar markets, is expanding its solar farm portfolio with five new solar facilities in Marion County. The company is projected to invest a total of approximately $16 million in the projects.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Caterpillar Inc., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives, will locate a casting facility in Greenwood County. The company’s $13.5 million investment is projected to create 85 new jobs.
