e-VAC Magnetics to build first US facility in Sumter County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – e-VAC Magnetics (e-VAC), a leading manufacturer of rare earth permanent magnets in the Western Hemisphere, today announced it is establishing U.S. operations in South Carolina, building its first facility in Sumter County. The project is expected to bring more than half a billion-dollar investment and create 300 new jobs for Sumter County.
Tomahawk Processing establishing operations in Laurens County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Tomahawk Processing LLC (Tomahawk Processing) today announced that it will establish meat processing operations in Laurens County. The company’s investment of $5 million will create 26 new jobs.
Tomahawk Processing will build a state-of-the-art, U.S. Department of Agriculture-inspected processing plant that will provide beef processing and packing services. It will also provide private label packaging, allowing producers to sell products publicly in South Carolina and other states.
Quality Enclosures establishes first South Carolina operations in Clarendon County
Quality Enclosures, a manufacturer of tempered glass shower enclosures, today announced that it will establish new operations in Clarendon County. The company’s $7.37 million investment will create 50 new jobs.
Quality Enclosures has several locations throughout the Southeast, mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. Founded in 1963, the company manufactures and wholesales luxury glass shower enclosures.
