COLUMBIA, S.C. – Physicians Choice Laboratory Services, a provider of testing services to clinicians, today announced plans to establish its new facility in York County. The $24.1 million investment is expected to generate 364 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Nexans, a worldwide leader in the cable industry, announced today that its new high voltage power cable manufacturing plant will be located in Berkeley County. The $85 million investment is expected to create up to 200 new jobs

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Naturally Advanced Technologies Inc. (NAT) (TSXV: NAT) (OTCBB: NADVF), which produces and markets CRAiLAR®, a natural fiber made from flax and other bast fibers, plans to open a facility in Florence County. An initial $8 million investment will create 25 jobs as part of the company’s move to the county. 

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Morgan Olson LLC, a maker of walk-in van bodies, today announced that it will establish its new plant in Charleston County. The $1 million investment is expected to generate 119 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Millard Refrigerated Services today announced plans to develop and operate a new cold storage distribution facility in Charleston County. The $42 million investment is expected to generate 87 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Michelin North America, Inc. today announced that the company will expand its Earthmover tire production in South Carolina with a $750 million investment expected to generate 500 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – MAPAL Inc., a global leader and innovator in the tooling industry, today announced that it will establish its new North American production facility in Greenville County. The $3 million investment is expected to generate more than 30 new jobs over the next three years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Keller USA Inc., a maker of industrial filtration products, today announced the location of its North American headquarters and new manufacturing facility in York County. The $2.5 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Ohio-based Grace Plastics, a plastics recycler, today announced plans to locate a new facility in Greenville County. The $1.2 million investment is expected to generate 16 new jobs over the next two years.

The South Carolina facility will give us the opportunity to reach new customers in the Southeast as well as grow our overall operations. COLUMBIA, S.C. – Gonvarri Steel Services, a provider of steel processing to manufacturers,  today announced plans to locate its new production plant in Union County. The initial $35 million investment is expected to generate 40 new jobs, with an additional $15 million investment and 25 jobs created over the next 10 years.
